About CANDLE

Project CANDLE is a partnership between Penn State University and lighting professionals seeking to

Create an Alliance to Nurture Design in Lighting Education.

Together we create the brightest future for lighting design.

 

Our Goals
  • Connect students and pros both to hire and inspire

  • Develop our lighting curriculum to prepare our graduates to become world-class lighting designers

  • Focus our research priorities and share the latest developments with our partners

  • Develop and expand the lighting design profession
